The news we need for nature

Nature’s recovery is no joke.

We live in one of the most nature deprived countries in the world, with half of UK wildlife species in long-term decline. One in seven UK species face extinction, including iconic wildlife like hedgehogs, red squirrels, water voles and many of our birds, bees and butterflies.

That’s why on April Fools Day we’ve sent every MP in England a ‘newspaper from the future’ with the headlines we could see by 2030 if nature’s recovery is put into law.

We want stories like these to come true, for our wildlife and environment to be protected for generations to come.

Please sign our petition and help us to demand that the Prime Minister puts a target for a better #StateofNature into law.

We’d be fools not to.
