How we are funded

Link is run by its members, for its members.  As a result, members provide a large proportion of Link’s income through an annual subscription, which increases yearly and voluntary donations. A significant proportion of Link’s income is provided by its member organisations. Financial support is also gratefully received from Natural England and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

In addition, Link’s Marine Policy and Campaigns Co-ordinator position is funded on a three year basis (May 2007 - April 2010) by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the Tubney Charitable Trust, to manage Link’s Marine Bill Campaign.
